Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant at Hollywood Studios

Are you ready for a dining experience that’s a rootin’ tootin’ good time? Roundup Rodeo at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios is based on Pixar’s Toy Story movies. The restaurant is themed like you are in a restaurant Andy has built that includes Woody and the other toys. Andy’s restaurant is made of cardboard and other pieces, along with other toys and whatever else Andy had. This makes the restaurant decor a lot of fun to look at all the details!

Even though it is themed after Toy Story, it is important to note that this is not a character meal. You can find some of the Toy Story characters at meet and greets around Toy Story Land, but they are not inside the restaurant. There is a lot of fun shenanigans that happen while you are dining. While dining, you will hear the different characters talking. Sarge, one of the green army men, may come on telling everyone that “Andy is Coming!” and because everyone dining is a “toy,” you need to freeze until Andy has left.

The food is BBQ. It is served family-style and is all-you-care-to-enjoy. It seems similar to Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. I have now dined at Roundup Rodeo a few times and each time, the food has been good. Roundup Rodeo is on the Disney Dining Plan and is 1 dining credit per person. If you want to pay out of pocket and not use the dining plan, it is a good choice for doing that because of the prices. At this time, prices are $45 per adult and $25 per child (ages 3-9). The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. Advanced Dining Reservations are strongly encouraged.
